Functieomschrijving / Job description

Due to the expansion of the Offline Sales Team – Europe, Oman Air is looking to attract a Sales Coordinator – Offline Markets for the offline markets in Europe and Americas. The Sales Coordinator will be working in close cooperation with the Manager Offline Sales and the Account Manager - Offline Markets to ensure the respective markets are further developed.

The position will be based at the Oman Air Regional Office Europe in Amsterdam (Schiphol Airport).

Brief Description:

  • Assisting the Offline & Pan European Sales team in daily sales & marketing activities.
  • To prepare analysis and reporting on agency level and identifying opportunities for the GSA’s for the offline markets in Europe and the Americas.
  • Assist all agents in resolving system issues with regards to ticketing and reservation process.
  • Monitor, manage and carry out all administrative, supporting and secretarial activities which involves liaising with respective user departments in Head Office Muscat and the station.
  • Conduct analysis, prepare presentations & reports, prepare meetings, consolidate information on European level.
  • Work in close coordination with the interline pricing team to ensure all required information is present to support the pricing strategy.
  • Assisting and preparing with contracting of corporates and trade agreements.
  • Follow up with stakeholders in the various internal departments.
  • Other sales support related activities.
  • This position requires limited travel.

Functie-eisen / Skills & experience

  • Holder of a Bachelor’s or College degree in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a sales support within the airline industry.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing. Arabic will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in GDS and Interline is an advantage.
  • Independent and pro-active attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in an international work environment.
  • Team player.
