Functieomschrijving / Job description
In this exciting new role you will support the implementation of promotional campaigns to achieve the revenue target. You will provide support to the E-commerce Officer regarding online marketing activities to increase relevant traffic flow and sales conversion, using PPC, SEO, display, email marketing, social media and affiliate campaigns. You will ensure the delivery of all campaign applications on time, to budget and to the highest standard.
Additionally, you will propose sales strategies for the continued growth of QR, including benchmarking against key competitors.
You will also be responsible for creating, modifying and managing qatarairways.com pages to ensure the information is kept up to date and meets commercial objectives and best practice requirements. You will need to report any technical bugs in order to maximise customer satisfaction and improve conversion rate. You will develop and implement initiatives to increase e-newsletter subscribers and facebook fans to achieve the targets.
Functie-eisen / Skills & experience
- You will have a Trade or Vocational Qualifications and be a graduate of a business school with Marketing/E-Commerce majors.
- You will have a minimum of 3 years job related experience.
- You will have proven commercial skills and business acumen.
- You have excellent communications skills and ability to influence and negotiate effectively as well as take effective decisions.
- A strong team player capable of also working independently is required.
- The knowledge of travel industry or prior airline experience along with the knowledge of Omniture and Melt water is highly desirable.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch are essential.
