Functieomschrijving / Job description
Qatar Airways is seeking an inspirational Direct Sales & Servicing Supervisor for Qatar Airways based in Amsterdam. As the direct sales and servicing supervisor you will plan, supervise and support the direct sales and servicing agent’s staff in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and surpass the annual revenue targets. Encourage team work consistency of service and proper coordination.
You will prepare staff roster to ensure proper distribution of manpower on weekly basis. Brief staff on day to day basis and keep them updated with relevant changes in the industry and QR products / services. You will handle customer requirements/request professionally on a daily basis and assist staff and customer to resolve difficult issues/problems pertaining to direct Sales and servicing on a daily basis. Supervise staff and ensure quality of work meets the Airline standard on a daily basis. Encourage up-sale to maximize revenue for the Airline whenever possible.
You will support the Direct Sales and Servicing Manager France-Benelux by reviewing proposing and implementing procedural changes to improve sales, productivity or inter-departmental relationships. Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures ad practices and makes appropriate changes if needed.
Functie-eisen / Skills & experience
- You will have a Trade or vocational qualification,
- Must have very good communication skills both English and Dutch-verbal and written.
- You should have recognised IATA or Airline Advanced Passenger Tariff and pricing course.
- Detailed knowledge of computer Reservation System (e.g Amadeus).
- Passionate about what you do, assertive and influential, you are a credible and smart company representative.
- Ideally, you are well versed in working with international clients in an international environment with 3 years job related experience.
Please note - Interviews for this position will commence from 25th February 2015 onwards.
